Here is the url for the comment I made about the aid from Australia to the Horn of Africa, where Somalia will receive $3m.
I have written to the Australian FA minister and recommended direct aid (government to government) assistance rather than via UN or other agencies. This is to avoid slippage, the lengthy process and the uncertainty on how much that aid will eventually reach Somalia.
